Now that School is back are you having a hard time with kids knocking on your door right when it's homework time or dinner time? Well, why don't you give this sign a try. It has worked wonders for us! Simply print out the picture. Cut out the signs glue them together (or have them laminated if you are like that) and hang it on your door.

Back to School Playday!!

We had our Back To School Party yesterday.... oh what fun it was.

and some are clip art I bought at the store... they have all kinds of things out there all ready printed for you.



We had lunch



and treat boxes- I took take-out boxes and added some embellishments, wrote their names on them & stuffed them with treats and school supplies. Tag from paperglitter.com





cheese & crackers snacks--

more treats... fruit snacks.  We don't get these alot, so they are really a treat!! 

Apple sandwiches... just spread peanut butter in between 2 apple slices

Always a FAVORITE!!!

and of course... milk jugs of MILK with striped straws & topped with chocolate striped cookies.

I hadn't had alphabet soup forever...... the  boys had fun finding letters

This little guy was so excited to show us where he put his worm..... hahaha he liked the  pin the worm on the apple game!!


And lots of "kisses" to take home..... made with the printables from www.laurenmckinsey.com  Fun day with those little boys.... I can't believe summer is almost over.

Back to School!!

I can't believe summer is almost over!!! I think it goes faster every year. This year is a FIRST for me... my two oldest Grandsons will start Kindergarden.  Wow!  How time flies, I just took them school shopping today and I thought-- It seems like yesterday I was on my way to the Hospital to see them come into this world.  What a JOY they have been to our family. (All 4 little boys)    We have got Back to School on the brain, I have been trying to get a party planned and found some pictures from our party last year! 

There were so many FUN die-cuts and tags in the stores for school-- I decided to use them instead of printing some off.  

I made them little bags filled with school supplies to take home.

Dipped marshmallows to look like apples- stems were pretzels & the leaf is a flattened gum drop cut into the shape of a leaf. These tags were from www.thetomkatstudio.com  I used my scallop punch to cut them. 

A sack lunch for everyone!

I found this banner & cut outs at the dollar store....  gotta LOVE that! 

Now to think of something NEW for this years party!!!....

Teacher Appreaction Gift

Oh my look how CUTE this Teacher Gift turned out!!!   It was made by my very crafty Niece (she is married to my Nephew)  Cheryl!!  She has written on it with chalk "Thank-You for helping me to grow"  I give her an A+  how about you??  Super cute idea for your kids teachers.  Thanks Cheryl.
