Last minute teacher Valentines!

Need a last minute gift for your kids teacher? Well have no fear we are here to help! (thanks to gg digital designs! and her cute new Project Life kit Crush)


Just simply -------> 

right click, save image as, save to desktop.
Printout as a full page (tray and topper on cardstock)
Cut out
Tape wrappers to 8 hersheys nuggets
fold tray
place nuggets and in tray and put in a pretzel sized cello bag
top with topper (remember to have your child sign the card first)

Now that School is back are you having a hard time with kids knocking on your door right when it's homework time or dinner time? Well, why don't you give this sign a try. It has worked wonders for us! Simply print out the picture. Cut out the signs glue them together (or have them laminated if you are like that) and hang it on your door.

Our Easter Egg Hunt

Grandma Karen always puts on amazing parties and the Easter egg hunt is no exception! Last year we wanted to fill the eggs with other things besides the usual candy because let's face it too much candy is a bad thing! So last year we had "bunny bucks" The bunny Bucks were in the eggs and after the hunt was over the kids were able to purchase items from the general store! We liked it so much that we are going to do it again this year! So we decided to add chick change and some cute general store signs!

We can't keep it all to ourselves though! We want you to have a great Easter egg hunt as well! So here are the free printables for you to use!

Also this past year our eggs have had a rough time keeping up with all the kids... here is a great egg bundle that we found on amazon for CHEAP!!

You have been Egged!

We LOVE Easter around our house! We love the reminder it gives us.

Sometimes we love to egg our neighbors homes too! (with plastic eggs of course)

Not familiar with Easter egging? Well you get 12 Easter eggs, fill 11 of them with treats and leave the 12th egg empty to remind you of Jesus' empty tomb! Hide them all over your neighbors yard. Leave the signs and run! Then watch them try to find all of the eggs!

Once you have been egged, copy and hang the WE have been EGGED" sign in your front window so neighbors know not to egg you!

Get a box of orbit gum!

Click on image> file>save as> save to desktop>Print this out as a 4x6 on hard white paper. Attach it to the orbit gum and there you have it! Sweet and fast!

Angry Birds Star Wars Valentines

My son is obsessed with anything angry birds! So when I asked him what he wanted to give out this year he, without hesitation, said angry birds STAR WARS! I thought, Hey... I can make that!

All you need to do is go to the dollar store and grab some glow sticks. I was able to get 8 for a dollar. Then printout the free image. Make a cut with a knife right by the light sabor

Thread the glow stick through the hole and tape it down in the back... Be careful not to snap the glow stick or it will start glowing!!

There you have it folks!

Click on the image. File>save as> save to desktop. Printout as a 4x6 on hard white paper! :)

I like to add a few extra glowstick for the kids... so they will last here is a great bundle on amazon that won't break the bank.

Countdown to Valentines Day

So my kids LOVE countdown calendars! I also like them as well because I don't have to keep telling them how many days there are until something! I didn't have a good one for Valentines Day until now so I thought that I'd share with you what I made!



First the supplies! You are going to need Cellophane, ribbon, scissors, our free topper and candy of choice

 

Cut a strip of cellophane wide enough to cover your candy. I cut mine about 4 inches wide. Cut some strips of ribbon

 

Next lay your candy out on the cellophane.

 

 

Fold over the cellophane and start tying the ribbon on in between the candy. I started from the middle and worked my way to the ends.

 

Once you have it complete add the free topper to the top and wallah! There you go!

To get the free topper, click on the image, right click, save as... save to desk top. Print it out as a 3.5x5 on heavy white paper!
